Vocaloid Oliver (no eyepatch) Digital Painting

I couldn't find any pictures of Oliver without the eye bandages, other than ones where he just had an evil-looking eye or nothing notably wrong. My theory is that he lost his eye, possibly in an explosion, so that's what I drew.

This is my first attempt at a digital painting, so I know it's not that great. This was drawn with a pencil, scanned with my terrible scanner, then colored in Photoshop. The shading was done almost entirely with the burn and dodge tools over flat colors.


He's not wearing his hat or coat because he's inside. He's not smiling, because he wasn't posing for a photo. He might look a little too old, but that's because I can't draw don't have much practice drawing young people. His hair doesn't flip up as much at the tips because I was going for a bit more realism.
